3 Reasons to have a family session with your High School Senior

Many families take lots of photos when their kids are young. As the kids grow documenting the family with yearly photos can take a back seat. I find it very common that families with middle and high school children haven’t taken family photos in 5-10 years.
1. Capture the milestones
If you have found yourself in this situation where your child is coming up upon highschool graduation now is the time to get family photos taken.
Not only is capturing this milestone important as a senior in highschool, but having everyone in photos together will be priceless in the future.
2. Highschool Seniors are moving on
Your high school senior is ready to start their next chapter. For some that is going straight to work, taking on another 4 years of school at college or studying abroad and traveling. Your time with your high school senior is limited. Getting photos together is crucial. This may be the last time you can all be together for a while.
3. Kids grow up fast
The bottom line is that kids grow up fast. One day they are in our arms and the next they are moving out on their own. We can never go back in time and take the photos together that we wish we had. Photography is priceless in your families story. This is why getting in the frame together often is so important.
With graduation so close this could be your last summer to capture your senior as a graduating high school senior. They only graduate once and they are only this age for a short time. Capture this milestone together and freeze it in time forever.
