I never thought that photographing a belly could be so fun.

Jen was the first person that I ever did a maternity session for. She was almost due at the time and asked me to take a couple of photos for her. We kinda had to shoot it on the fly in a back yard. I had never done maternity before and wanted to give her some images that she could have to look back on and remember her first pregnancy.

When I became pregnant last year with my first child, a girl named Leila, I really had a greater appreciation for Jen and mothers out there. Our bodies have gone through so many changes and literally grown a human being. That is amazing! That deserves some mementos for you and your kids to look back on. To be able to show them "what mommy looked like when she was pregnant with you."

  This personal connection with pregnancy really inspires me to capture this amazing time in a mother to be's life. My ultimate goal in photography is to make quality images that you will cherish for a life time. Maternity Photography is near and dear to my heart and i want to share my passion with you.
