My images look a little different than what has become the norm for school pictures. I use a timeless background that brings the focus on the child and lets their true personality shine, that’ also won’t clash with a homes decor. I use a simple light set up so I can work anywhere/anytime regardless of the weather. I never prompt children to “say cheese”. In our short time frame I take as many images as I can to give parents options that they get to see before they buy. I streamline ordering online to make this process as easy as possible.

What services do you offer?
As a Tacoma School Photographer I provide all information on picture day prep for schools to distribute to parents about 2 weeks before picture day. I will handle all questions from parents about ordering and product offerings.
I offer an easy online experience. Each student will have a password protected album hosted in an online gallery for each school. Albums will be broken up into grade, class or whatever makes the most sense for each school. There will be 2-5 images+ per child presented in color and black and white. In each child’s album parents will be able to order prints and digital files (with print release).
All print orders will be delivered to the school within 4 weeks of portrait day to distribute to families.
I offer a complimentary image of all staff and class photos depending on each school’s individual needs. All images of students will be provided to the school for use in yearbooks, website or however they choose to use them.

What is the cost for modern school photography?
There is no upfront cost to the school.
Package pricing is very competitive with big box companies. Money will only be taken at checkout for purchase of digital and print products. I have packages and a la carte items. Click here to see our price sheet. (*Pricing is subject to change)
I also give back to each school 5% of the profits (less costs) as a donation.
What time of year can Modern School Picture Day be booked?
I work with each school to complete their portrait day during the time of year that works best for them. Schools have chosen to do portraits in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
What do you need from the School?
All that I ask of the school is to send out the information I provide about picture day prep and ordering to the parents via email.
On picture day I will come with everything needed to capture each child’s photos, the school does not need to provide anything.
