Three reasons why Family Photography is Important.
1. Saving the fleeting moments in life.
All too often we are caught up in the everyday life. Sleep, work, dinner, bath, bed time. You may have a schedule that varies but it boils down to a routine. We get stuck in the routine of everyday life and we forget to take time to focus on family activities. I know what it is like to be in this very situation with my own family.
When you book a family photo session you are taking the time to focus completely on your family and capturing a wonderful time spent together. Creating photographs that can be enjoyed for years and shared.
2. Documenting the changes through out the years.
One day they are hours old snug in your arms and the next they are graduating from High School. It’s amazing how your child changes over the years. Having family photos done at least once a year will capture all the changes that your children go through as they grow. Keeping the curls that they grew out of or the missing front teeth preserved, the little things that you don’t want to forget about each stage of growing up.
At a family session with me I make sure to take photos of each child individually a well as together. Giving you a personalized portrait of each child to document their individual personality at whatever particular stage in life they are in.
3. Getting Mom in the frame!
As the matriarch of our family we often if not always are the ones taking to photos of our family. Especially in the daily documenting of moments and events. But, my friend, you need to be in photos too. Your children will want to see photos of you a the grow and someday those photos will be priceless. Whats more is that those photos of you with your children, holding them, snuggling and playing with them, those photos will be cherished beyond belief.
Having photos of the whole family loving each other, connecting and playing together will be a family treasure I’m sure of it. At some point in a session with me I will bring you aside mama to have take a few shots of you solo because I know that you need to be seen as the incredible mother, wife and person that you are.
