Professional Portraits are unmatched and here’s why…

In the year 2020 everyone has a camera in their pocket. Your phone likely has a camera that can take pictures and video and the quality is getting really amazing.

You can take pictures of anything and everything. From your kids, your food and your perfect latte.

But you can’t really take your own family photos. There are some very specific reasons why.

Professional photographers are experts in their craft.

They can see you from a point of view that we can’t see ourselves. They can capture moments and details that we might miss. They see us in ways that we can’t see ourselves and our kids. And let’s be honest, selfies and self timers just don’t feel the same as when someone else is taking the photo for you.

Your iPhone is and will never be a professional camera.

Sure the latest phones have really great quality mega pixels and fancy modes like portrait mode but the selfie with your family in the frame does not feel the same as a one taken by a professional photographer. With a professional camera and lens your photographer is able to capture images of your family that make you stand out. From different angles to depth of field (blurry background) the pro camera and an experience photographer can do magical things.

You can enjoy the experience.

When you give trust and control over to a professional photographer you are able to be present in the experience of your photoshoot and enjoy it! As moms I feel like we want to do it all but family photos are too important to go into with out the knowledge and experience of a pro because the results will be drastically different.

When you hire a photographer you aren’t just having someone take your photo. You are hiring them to capture you with their one of a kind own artist eye. So be sure to choose someone whose style you really appreciate and enjoy.
