Photos can’t just live on a Hard drive or cell phone anymore….

In 2020 this generation of kids will have more images of them taken than ever before but will any of them ever be seen? What will we have to show for it?

Let’s face the truth. You probably have 500+ images of your kids between your phone and computer. You take pictures of the moments that happen through out the day and things that you think are important. That is all great. I am a firm believer that you can’t have enough photos. But when was the last time that you looked at them? Are they just sitting in storage taking up space in your phone and hard drive?

I would place a bet on that answer being YES for most of us.

This my friends is why printing your photos is so important. We have these photos that we love and find important that because they have meaning to us they deserve to be real tangible prints that we can hold, display and enjoy everyday.

How should we display our photos?

There are multiple ways to print your precious photos.

  • You could take a bunch and put together and album.

  • You can make individual prints and place them in a frame to hang alone or in a wall gallery.

  • You could also get a presentation box for your images to safely store them and pull them out when ever you want to reminisce.

  • You could take a favorite photo and print is large on a warp around canvas.

If you aren’t sure how is best to display your photos you can feel free to search Pinterest or ask your photographer. They should have some suggestions for you based on your taste and home decor.

Your images come alive in Print.

So you see it is worth it to print your images. When we print our photos out then become actual photographs. Before that it’s really just information projected on a screen. Which is nice to share on instagram and is convenient but they will ultimately get lost in the daily posts and be forgotten. Tangible photographs are displayed and loved for generations, ultimately becoming our family history and a way of remembering.
